POCKETRA PRIVACY POLICY

You may copy this policy for your website, App Store listing, or support pages. If anything here conflicts with Apple’s disclosures for iCloud, Siri, speech recognition, or the App Store, Apple’s terms and policies govern those services where you use them.

SUMMARY

Pocketra is a personal finance and budgeting app. We do not sell your personal information. We do not integrate third-party advertising networks or cross-app behavioral analytics SDKs. Financial information is stored on your device and, if you choose, synced through Apple iCloud (CloudKit) for optional family sharing. The in-app “Analytics” feature computes spending insights only on your device from your existing data; it is not a third-party tracking product.

For data stored only on your device, you control it in the app and in iOS Settings. For data processed by Apple (iCloud, CloudKit, on-device or server speech features, App Store), Apple’s privacy policy and your Apple ID settings apply.

1. INFORMATION WE PROCESS

2.1 Stored on your device

Pocketra stores locally (for example app storage and, where applicable, UserDefaults):

• Transactions — amounts, categories, income/expense type, dates, notes, and fields you enter • Budgets — limits, periods, categories, and related configuration • Settings — display name, currency, appearance (light/dark/system), onboarding state, and preferences including whether Analytics (in-app charts and summaries) is enabled • Family / sync helpers — technical data needed to connect to CloudKit shares (for example share metadata managed with Apple’s APIs)

Export and deletion: Where the app provides Export, you can save a copy of your data. Clear All Data removes app-managed content from the device as implemented in your app version (export first if you need a backup). Uninstalling the app removes local app data from the device.

2.2 Apple iCloud and CloudKit (optional)

If you use family sharing, sync, or related iCloud features, Pocketra uses Apple CloudKit with the container iCloud.com.pocketra.app.

Transactions, budgets, and fields needed for sync may be stored in your private CloudKit database and/or a shared CloudKit database when you invite someone or accept an invitation, so that people you explicitly share with can access that shared data under Apple’s sharing rules.

• Apple operates iCloud and CloudKit. See https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/ • We do not operate our own servers that receive your full CloudKit database for routine app operation; sync is between your devices and Apple’s infrastructure under your Apple ID. • Turning off iCloud, signing out, or ending a share affects availability of synced copies per Apple’s systems.

2.3 Voice input (microphone and speech recognition)

If you use voice entry, the app uses the microphone and Apple’s Speech APIs. Audio and transcripts may be processed on device and/or by Apple, depending on iOS version, language, and system settings. We do not run our own speech-to-text servers for this feature in the app. You can allow or revoke access in Settings → Privacy & Security on your device.
